An international recruitment company recently passed us a £53.5k debt owed by one of their customers consisting over several invoices.

The invoices were dating back as far as 6 months and there was a dispute over payment terms between our client and their customer, tied in with the debtor appearing to have cash-flow problems.

Our debt recovery team maintained a high level of pressure using calls backed up by emails (to various contacts at the debtor and establishing a relationship with the Finance Director), confirming each instalment payment with the debtor and immediately establishing details for the next payment.

Our client benefited as not only were they repaid the full amount passed to debt recovery without the need to divert their attentions to the collection process, but they also had the added benefit of the late fees being collected too that covered the costs of the collection.
